So everybody knows that the Sneaker Culture has exploded and every store wants a piece of that pie. Personally I don't really care if a clothing store decides to sell Sneakers on the side, just as long as they keep it in line with their apparel.
I stumbled in to the ‘Men at Work’ yesterday, my girl and I where doing some window-shopping and she wanted to try on a pair of boots. Because I'm not that impressed with the collection they have going on, my eyes wondered of and stopped at this flyer that was lying there.
On first site a simple flyer for promoting the (web)store, some scribbly pictures of shoes that are stickers you can take out. A nice little flyer, which will definitely be attracting for the audience that shops there.
When I turned the flyer over I saw all the brands they are selling... Adidas, DC Comics, G-Star Raw, Gravis, Nike... What?!?! Wait a minute... DC COMICS?
How can a big company like ‘Men at Work’ be so retarded to use the logo for DC Comics instead of the one for DC Shoes. And not even only on their flyers, on the website they also use that logo to promote DC Shoes!
So who is responsible for this fuck up? Always check, double check and triple check your shit! The DC Shoe logo is on the side of almost every shoe they make! And if you make things with the DC logo, don't you just ask DC Shoes for a good quality logo that you can use for print or on the website...? Come on.. somebody needs a pair of glasses or at least do their homework a whole lot better.
Off course I emailed and twittered this post on to Men at Work, DC Comics and DC Shoes.. I'm excited to see who will react first! Hahahahaha let's see if some heads are gonna be rollin’…
